Patient #257152

Post-op: 1.5 Years
Age: 30’s

This patient had her initial operation performed by a board certified plastic surgeon. However, this surgeon utilized older techniques for her nose, where her bridge was reshaped using chisels. This surgeon was also unable to adjust her projection, columella, or nostrils. In addition, the patient believed she was breathing perfectly, but during her consultation with Dr. Shah, he found she had a significant septal deviation in her nose.

Dr. Shah corrected her nose by reducing her nostril show and deprojecting her nose, which fortunately did not require rib or ear cartilage. The patient was told by another surgeon whose opinion she sought that the procedure would take seven hours and require significant pre and post-op care. However, repair with Dr. Shah took only four hours. Her recovery was smooth with zero complications, and she found herself incredibly happy with the results, even at only one week.
