This patient came to Dr. Shah with one of the more common sentiments surgeons see when consulting about a revision rhinoplasty- the patient had the work done, but don’t feel satisfied with their breathing or a specific aspect of their nose post rhinoplasty. She thought her nose projected out too far when compared to her chin, and wanted her nose closer to her face. The previous doctor recommended a chin implant to rectify this, but the patient believed it would make her face look too masculine.

Dr. Shah performed a 5D Rhinoplasty, changing the nose in multiple dimensions to more appropriately balance her nose with her chin and the rest of her face. The nose was deprojected, and her columella and nostrils were both addressed to better suit her aesthetic desires. The patient is now much more confident in how her nose looks, and is very satisfied with the revision performed by Dr. Shah.
